Even through the early stages of his professional career, Edward Jimenez has earned the respect of his clients and peers for his diligence, integrity, honesty, and respect for the practice of law.
Beginning at the University of Miami, he obtained his Bachelors of Arts degree with a major in Political Science and minor in Philosophy. While attending the University of Miami as an
undergraduate student, he took early steps towards a legal career by starting from the ground up at a burgeoning Coral Gables law firm which soon became one of the largest first-party plaintiff firms in South Florida. There, Edward Jimenez moved up employment ranks and learned the basics of the legal trade while simultaneously working towards the acquisition of his Bachelor’s degree. This undergraduate experience led seamlessly into advancing his legal education at the Shepard Broad College of Law at Nova Southeastern University. Through three years of refining his legal skills, he obtained high-grade awards and dean’s list honors while also continuing his active participation in the field – this time working within the niche of personal injury and Personal Injury Protection insurance (“PIP”) in an effort to fast-track his ability to provide advanced acumen to his clients and
heighten their probability for positive outcomes.
Upon graduation from the Shepard Broad College of Law, the personal injury firm at which Edward Jimenez clerked during law school hired him as the firm’s lead associate attorney. There he fought vigorously for clients who suffered injuries due to car accidents, slip-and- falls, wrongful deaths, negligent security, or similar tragedies. His experience in this field ranged from counseling his clients through rigorous insurance company depositions, resolving favorable pre-suit or post-suit settlements for clients with minor to catastrophic injuries, leading clients with multiple surgeries through live jury trials, and arguing against billion-dollar corporations in front of federal judges at United States District Court of the Southern District of Florida. His experience at the boutique personal injury office also included heading the firm’s aggressive and high-volume PIP practice, which required involvement in all aspects of litigation from the pre-suit demand letter stage through
to final judgment. Edward Jimenez succeeded at both obtaining favorable judgments for his injured clients and at securing full payment for doctors’ offices on their underpaid PIP claims.
After nearly three years in the field of personal injury and PIP, Edward Jimenez joined Diverse Legal Solutions with his brother, Antonio, as an associate attorney to once again help those who have suffered damage to their homes or who are otherwise in need of professional and dedicated legal assistance while he also continues to represent clients suffering tragic personal injury losses and doctors seeking fair reimbursement from insurance companies for their PIP claims. Edward Jimenez is currently licensed to practice in all Florida circuit and county courts and the United States District Court of the Southern District of Florida and he is a member of the Florida Justice Association, Broward County Bar Association, Miami-Dade County Bar Association, and three divisions of the Florida Bar including the Young Lawyers Division, Trial Lawyers Division, and Appellate Practice Division.
